The server

A QSMP inspired server with its own story

Atena takes the shape of the QSMP — the Federation, the rules, the sense that something is watching. The story itself is ours.

The server runs a custom modpack with around 300 mods, including our own mod with items that exist only here. Those items are not decoration: they are how the story is told from inside the game.

Community

Small, whitelisted, and kept that way on purpose

Every application is read by a member of the team, one by one. We are strict about who joins because the environment inside depends entirely on that.

What players tell us back is that Atena is welcoming and friendly. That is the point of the filter at the door.

Atena Translations

Speak your own language

The QSMP has a system that translates voice chat on the fly. Atena has its own, built for this server — so a Brazilian and an American can talk over voice without either of them switching languages.

Atena Translations voice settings — Pick the language you speak and the one you want to read.

Balloon appearance settings — Colour, border and opacity of the balloons are yours to set.

Transcript box settings — Or read everything in a transcript box, if you prefer.

Atena Launcher

Installing 300 mods is one button

Big modpacks are usually the hard part: downloading files, putting them in the right folder, matching the Forge version, allocating memory. Atena has its own launcher so none of that exists.

It installs the modpack, updates itself when the team publishes a new version, handles Java and memory, and tells you what it is doing while it does it. If you have never touched mods before, you can still play here.
